2016年7月25日，WTO保障措施委員會發布約旦于2016年7月22日向其進行的保障措施立案通報。應約旦國內產業申請，約旦國家生產保護署（National Production Protection Directorate）于2016年7月24日對進口鋁條、鋁桿和型材（Aluminium Bars, Rods and Profiles）進行保障措施立案調查，涉案產品的約旦協調關稅稅號為7604。利益相關方應于2016年8月14日前提交應訴登記，2016年9月12日前提交書面評述和案件相關信息等材料。
